Freuqent Asked Questions
Do I still need to fill out a paper arrival card?
No. As of 2024, Malaysia has replaced paper cards with the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC). All foreign travelers (except Singaporeans and a few other exempt groups) must complete the MDAC online within 3 days prior to arrival. This is a mandatory requirement in addition to your visa.
What documents are required for the E-Visa application?
To ensure your application is successful, you must submit:
-
A clear scan of your Passport (valid for at least 6 months).
-
A 2×2 Passport Photo with a plain white background (selfies are not accepted).
-
Financial Proof: 4 months of bank statements showing sufficient funds.
-
Professional Proof: Job or business-related documents.
-
Travel Proof: Confirmed hotel and air reservations (included in our service packages).
How long does the E-Visa processing take?
Standard processing through the official portal typically takes 2 to 10 business days. We recommend applying at least 2 weeks before your planned departure to account for any public holidays or additional document requests from the Immigration Department.
Can I extend my stay in Malaysia on an E-Visa?
No. The 30-day stay granted by both the Single and Multiple Entry E-Visas is strictly non-extendable. Overstaying in Malaysia can lead to heavy fines, detention, or being blacklisted from future entry.
Can I enter Malaysia via any checkpoint with an E-Visa?
Yes, the E-Visa is valid for entry at all major gazetted entry points, including international airports (like KLIA/KLIA2) and land borders. However, some specific nationalities may be restricted to “Air Travel Only”—our portal will notify you if these restrictions apply to your passport.
Is the government fee included in the Bizoso Consulta packages?
How Do I Contact Bizoso?
Yes. Our prices of $49 (Single Entry) and $129 (Multiple Entry) are all-inclusive. This covers the mandatory Malaysian Government fees, processing charges, and our expert assistance in preparing your flight and hotel itineraries.
Does the E-Visa guarantee my entry into Malaysia?
An E-Visa is a “pre-entry authorization.” The final decision to grant entry always rests with the Malaysian Immigration Officer at the checkpoint. You should be prepared to show your printed E-Visa, MDAC confirmation, and proof of sufficient funds (cash or cards) upon arrival.
